Entertainment for the Masses started becoming a band in the summer of 2006. Mike Kimmons, Mike D'Apice and Ivan Muyargas attended St. Marguerite D'Youville High School, and knew each other through various activities and classes throughout. Josh Cwintal had previously jammed with the others outside of school, and so Entertainment For The Masses was born.

There was a main idea that went behind the creation of Entertainment For The Masses. It was the chance to be able to make whatever genre of music they wanted to create. All the members enjoy many other styles of music, so it was ideal to be able to go on stage and play whatever they felt like playing that night.

The songs themselves do not pertain to one genre either. Entertainment For The Masses have been known to mix up songs that contain anything from reggae and electronica to hard rock and jazz. They believe putting a label on music is only limiting how much an artist can grow musically.

The band is currently practicing hard for upcoming shows. Money being made from the shows has been going towards the cost of recording their first not yet titled EP.
