Gary Antoni Gje Akaas, a rap/recording artist from Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario an artist with 'Star Quality' as quoted by the Manager of Toronto Exclusive Magazine.

Currently Gary is performing at coffee houses, open mics, and acoustic nites at locactions throughout the GTA and SW Ontario, such as 'Acoustics Nite' at the Akee Tree located on Queen and Spadina. and is working on his in studio live CD offereing, but no date nor deadline accompanies this work. At the moment Gary is an applicant for the Ontario Arts Popular Music Grant.

Working alongside longtime friend and rap/recording artist Jonny Riddim, who is also a former Ontario Arts Grant recicipent, a K-W Arts Award nominee. Jonny and Gary fuse their love for golden era hip hop, Afro Brasialian and Caribbean Jazz in a lovely now nostalgic style of Hip Hop, leaving a growing number of supporters simply saying 'He's Hip to his Hop'.
