Jsin is Rock Music
His introspective lyrics let you ride his waves of confusion and settle in a peaceful state of understanding. He'll poke your nerves when he screams but ease the pain when he sings.
His primary influence is the legendary Axl Rose, most notably in the vocals and the tendency to indulge in his experiences of/with love, anger, and frustration. He flirts with the bitter rage of the Smashing Pumpkins, and creates melodies reminiscent of early Radiohead in the acoustic numbers. With these influences, he articulates his thoughts and emotions, which are more often than not, contradictory, both powerfully and candidly.
He is of Indian descent currently residing in Toronto, Canada, but spent the majority of his childhood in Montreal. He often struggled with the idea of being a minority - it caused confusion and insecurity, intertwined to create a strong and stubborn character. This manifestation of infectious emotion is clearly expressed in his music, leaving your mind anxiously wanting more.
