Volume has been playing together for 2 years now; however each member has been playing music in some form from a very young age. Volume was formed in the winter/spring of 2005, out of a shared interest in playing writing and recording great rock and roll music. Since the beginning, each member has been serious about the band, hoping to rise beyond the local, garage  band that is all too common in the suburbs. What sets Volume apart from the local garage band persona is that each member of the band comes from a different musical background with a very large range of influences from jazz and classical to heavy metal and indie, but a common interest in blues rock (60s and 70s style) is shared. The goal of the band at this point is to play as many live shows as possible and to play great music.

Original songs - All original songs recorded by Volume are recorded in a
basement with minimal budget, however the quality is decent considering the
quality of the equipment.
