Adam's God

Incorporating deep vocals, eerie instrumentation and chilling lyrics, Adam Rave, creator of Adam's God is one of Toronto’s up and coming rock artists.
Perhaps what makes him stand out musically in the rock scene, however, is his talent for catchy hard rock songs and poetic lyrics which deal with edgy themes, such as religious beliefs, violence and “our broken society”, As Adam calls it. Rave is not only the vocalist and namesake, but is also responsible for writing all the music and lyrics.

To test the waters, Adam got together with 4 other musicians he recruited, To play the music which serves as the backdrop to Rave’s haunting vocals.
Adam’s God has played at many of the leading music venues in Toronto, including Lee’s Palace, The Reverb, El Mocambo and Kathedral.

Rave founded Adam’s God in early 2001. In his youth, he was a musician and songwriter in Israel, where he spent most of his childhood. He formed a rap metal group called “The Underground”.
“Slowly over the years my writing and taste in music changed and grew, and I started to write different types of material. Eventually, after serving in the Israeli Defense Force for 3 years, I packed my bags and moved to Toronto to create my brain-child.” That became Adam’s God.

Currently, Adam is working on his 5-song EP, The “Make Me Famous” EP, which is due for release in mid 2007. The EP includes crowd favourites such as the chillingly sensual title track, “Make Me Famous”, and “Pagan”, which is a hard-rock anti-religion anthem.
After being asked what he hopes for the future of Adam’s God, Rave says, “I want to create a riot, I want to be noticed. I think with my songs I can create an army of followers, to lead in the war against our broken society.”
