CloseKnit was born on the day Adam Tiessen’s band died.

The band he moved from a small town outside of Toronto to play drums in. ShapeOfYou was a local Toronto band that had been Gigging in and around Toronto for two years.

After Shapeofyou broke up Adam lost touch with his Friends and Band mates and set out to find his voice....His writing style, and with no musical skill in guitar or singing has slowly created songs that he loves and is proud of. Showing that music is more a true feeling, and less a talent.

He now Jams with a few select friends for live shows and records daily in his apartment on the west side of Toronto.

Closeknit comes from the importance of human connections in our everyday lives.
