Bella Mitchell
Written by Niki Stad
Bella is a mix of Scottish, English and Irish; she grew up in the small town of Ajax just outside of Toronto. Her family of 5 has been compared to the Simpson, she say’s “I grew up almost with the Simpson family.
It was pretty normal, I think! Dad was an engineer, Mom stayed at home, my brother was a brat, my sister was gifted, and I was the baby. I think our normal family is what made growing up special. I've always had a great support system.”
Transitioning from a teenager to a woman for Bella was modeling. She started modeling when she was 17, she did it for one of her friends who wanted to become a photographer, and she’s been going at it ever since….and it’s been 6 years!
Modeling puts Bella in her alter-ego mode, but her artistic/body styles are her most organic and comfortable zone. She say’s “this style is more natural, unexposed and sensual for me”. One of the things that makes her stand out though, is that she can truly be transformed from one look to another, my guess is, its because of her bone structure and not only that, her short hair suits her face so much. I don’t think there are too many girls can have short hair that looks good on them, but for Bella it’s a gift.
Even though Bella is a pro model, she never stresses herself out about her weight; she just says “I try not to concern myself too much with my weight. I check it pretty often, to just know that I'm within my 2-3 lbs comfort zone - however I just eat well, and don't really work out. I'm lucky enough to be pretty fit, and since I do mostly figure work/art nudes my weight and measurements aren't as important”
One thing about her character is that she finds herself very committed sometimes,
She told us; “I tend to over work myself, and run myself down. I think I can do it all in a short time span - while I can, it takes a week to recover from!”
Aside from modeling, Bella has started running model shoots/workshops and she is working her way to becoming an event planner. One day, she would like to have her own business so that she can let her creativity and knowledge flow.
